Where We Began
A simple idea with a powerful belief, Peony Publishing began with the belief that writing can change lives—and books can change businesses.
In the early days, we focused on helping authors bring their ideas to life and publish their books on Amazon. We guided them through the process from concept to launch, giving them the tools and support to become published authors.
And for many, that was enough.
But over time, we began to notice something more.
How We Evolved
Many authors experienced a strong launch—only to see momentum fade soon after. They had a book, but no clear strategy for using it beyond release.
We saw the same pattern across the industry: write, launch, and move on.
We knew our clients needed more than that.

Meet the Founder
The vision behind Peony Publishing...
Katrina Hahling is a book lover, passionate journaler, new mum, and amateur wine enthusiast with a deep belief in the power of writing to create clarity, confidence, and momentum.
With a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Journalism and Writing, Katrina has spent over a decade helping people use writing as a tool for personal growth, reflection, and meaningful change.
Her work began with teaching journaling for mental well-being, before evolving into coaching-style online courses centred on writing and personal development. Along the way, she contributed to multi-author books and published her own work—gaining firsthand experience in both writing and the publishing process.
With over eight years of experience in online business and seventeen years in hospitality, Katrina brings a unique blend of creativity, strategy, and real-world insight to her work.
She currently lives on the Gold Coast with her long-term partner Aaron, her son Teddy, and her cat Charlie.
